These terms apply to elxr.net and to every ELXR product you buy. ELXR is the trading name of Yusuf Sulayman, a sole proprietor based in British Columbia, Canada (“ELXR”, “we”, “us”). By using the site or buying a product, you agree to them.

2. Orders and payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
While we move our store to Paddle, some products may still be sold through Payhip, our previous checkout platform. Those orders are processed by Payhip and covered by Payhip's terms; the rest of these terms, including the licence and refund policy, apply to them too.
Purchases are also covered by Paddle's buyer terms. Prices are shown on each product page. Sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
3. What you get
ELXR products are digital downloads: Max for Live devices (.amxd files) and, in future, plug-ins and apps. After payment you get a download link on screen and by email. There is nothing physical to ship.
4. Your licence
When you buy a product, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it. You may:
- install and use it on computers that you personally own or use;
- use it in any music, sound or video you make, including commercial releases, with no royalties or credit required.
You may not resell, share, upload, give away or redistribute the product files, alone or as part of another product, or remove any copyright notices. The products and the website, including their code, design, graphics and audio, belong to us and are protected by copyright. Buying a licence doesn't transfer ownership.
5. Requirements and updates
Each product page lists what you need to run the product (for Max for Live devices: Ableton Live 12 with Max for Live). Please check before you buy. When we release an update to a product, existing buyers get it free.
6. Refunds
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase. See our refund policy.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use the site or products for anything unlawful or fraudulent, to infringe anyone's intellectual property, or to try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems. We may suspend or cancel access to downloads and licences for breach of these terms, non-payment, chargeback fraud or other fraud.
8. No guarantees
We work hard to make products that are stable and useful, but they are provided “as is”. We don't guarantee that the site or downloads will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, or that a product will work with every version of other software. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example, lost work or lost profits), and our total liability for any product is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be excluded.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. The terms in place when you bought a product apply to that purchase.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
